After working hard all day yesterday during my first bundh in Kathmandu, "Notes from Tibet - Part II" is stuck on Candace's computer as the wireless went out at the hotel last night as I was finishing. I hope that she can get it sent to me soon!
After a long day on the bus, I arrived in Pokhara. I love the heat but the humidity is making my well designed haircut worthless as it stays up all day.

I hope you have as much fun in Pokhara as we did (and it's still cooler than Chitwan)! Lots of great landscapes and street scenes to photograph there.
I too lost many postings to the unreliable internet at the Samasara - another reason to be glad I am back in the states (along with ice in my drinks and fruit I don't need to peel).

Hello beautiful. Thinking about you and glad that hair and blogs seem to be the worst of it - although I'm sure you'll have some good stories for us. If you were in Newport, you'd have the same hair problems anyway :)
